The Half Marathon, a distance of 21.1kms, saw its inception at the Route du Vin Half Marathon which was held in 1961. Since then, it has become a popular category among runners who want to graduate from a 10k run and go farther.
As you run the Half Marathon at the Bajaj Allianz Pune Half Marathon this year, you can expect a huge sea of enthusiastic runners accompanying you on your run. The route starts with a fly-by of the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue at the Balewadi Stadium, passes through Balewadi High Street and heads back from the Governor House.
